In Karachi, both international and local gold prices have decreased continuously for the past two days. In the international bullion market, the price of gold per ounce has dropped to $2337, a decrease of $12.
On the other hand, in local currency markets, the price of 24-carat gold per tola has decreased from Rs. 1200 to Rs. 241100, and the price of gold per 10 grams has also decreased from Rs. 943 to Rs. 207733. This decrease in gold prices is due to a decrease in people’s purchasing power and a decrease in gold trading activities.
Despite the decrease in gold prices, the price of silver remains stable in the country. The price of silver per tola is Rs. 2650 and per 10 grams is Rs. 2271.94 without any change.
Overall, while gold prices have decreased, silver prices have remained stable in the country.
