Saudi Ambassador meets Minister for Religious Affairs to discuss Hajj and bilateral relations

Saudi Ambassador Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki recently met with Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Aneeq Ahmed in Islamabad, Pakistan. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the arrangements for the upcoming Hajj, bilateral relations, and issues faced by the Ummah.

During the meeting, both parties engaged in a detailed discussion about the preparations and facilities for Pakistani pilgrims undertaking the Hajj. Minister Aneeq Ahmed emphasized his commitment to securing additional facilities and ensuring a safe and smooth pilgrimage experience for Pakistani pilgrims.

In addition, Minister Aneeq Ahmed shared that his ministry is organizing an interfaith harmony conference in Islamabad, which will take place tomorrow. Furthermore, a National Seerat Conference will be held in Rabi-ul-Awal with great religious enthusiasm, honoring the life of the Holy Prophet. The conference will focus on the economic stability of the country, drawing lessons from the life of the Prophet.

The Saudi Ambassador also mentioned that the Muslim World League is planning to organize an international conference to address the modern-day issues faced by the Muslim community.
