Five armed robbers arrived in a car and looted 84 tola gold, Rs 6 million cash, and other valuables after taking a family hostage. The Punjab police are investigating the case using CCTV footage.
Last month, a similar incident occurred where around Rs 20 million, 70 to 80 tola gold, and other valuables were stolen from a house in Orangi Town number 5. The robbers, some in police uniform, entered the house, took the family hostage, and fled with the valuables, leaving two brothers at Baloch Pull.
Police officials have contacted the affected family and are gathering evidence for the case.
