PTI requests permission for holding a procession from Islamabad administration

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has requested permission for a rally in Islamabad on the nights of March 23 and 24. Regional President Islamabad, Amir Masood Mughal, submitted the request to the District Magistrate, proposing three locations for the rally – D-Chowk, F-9 Park and Parade Ground. It was stated in the request that permission should be granted for the rally at any of the three locations, and if not possible on March 23, then on March 30. Amir Masood Mughal is also contesting elections from NA-46 Islamabad constituency. According to sources, PTI Chairman Imran Khan has assigned the responsibility of the rally to Sher Afzal Marwat. The PTI also intends to hold a long march and sit-ins after Eid.
