The Punjab police continued their raids on PTI election offices and the homes of party leaders and supporters on Monday, leading to allegations of harassment, sealing of offices, and abduction of individuals.

In a statement, the PTI alleged that police and masked men sealed the election office of Aaliya Hamza, a nominee for NA-118, and Saba Dewan, a PP-148 aspirant. The party also accused the police of harassing women workers in the NA-118 election office and warned them against campaigning against a PML-N leader.

The PTI spokesman criticized the police’s actions and called for the Election Commission of Pakistan to take notice. The party vowed to defeat the “mafia” with the power of their vote on Feb 8.

Additionally, the PTI claimed that law enforcement personnel abducted a high court lawyer, Khalid Ranjha, and his ailing 70-year-old father from their house in Sargodha. The lawyer’s only crime, according to the PTI, was supporting a PTI-affiliated candidate.

In Gujrat, PTI nominees Chaudhary Qaisara Elahi and Sameera Elahi accused the police of raiding their house and taking away a servant, computer, laptop, and voter lists. They also alleged that PML-Q staff members were present to guide the police during the raid.

In Multan, Javed Hashmi claimed that police raided his house and picked up his son-in-law, grandson, and a servant.

The actions of the Punjab police have led to widespread accusations of harassment, sealing of offices, and abduction of individuals, sparking criticism from the PTI and its supporters.
