Sources within the prison administration have revealed that PTI Chairman, Imran Khan, has been transferred from the B-class to the C-class detention in Adiala Jail. This is the same facility where former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi was previously held.

However, it has come to light that the C-class category in Adiala Jail lacks basic facilities for detainees, causing concern for Imran Khan’s well-being.

On the other hand, Superintendent Asad Warraich clarified that Imran Khan has not been specifically shifted to any particular class, but is being held in a security ward.

The superintendent further stated that the former Prime Minister is receiving better facilities, including a table, a chair, and a bed.

Earlier this week, Imran Khan was shifted to Adiala Jail with enhanced security measures in place. A caravan of 15 Islamabad police vans, two bullet-proof vehicles, and an ambulance was dispatched to transfer the PTI Chairman from Attock Jail to Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi.

The police caravan safely reached the Islamabad toll plaza after picking up Imran Khan from Attock Jail.

Imran Khan, the leader of the ruling party in Pakistan, was jailed in connection with charges of inciting violence and causing disruption during protests against the government in 2014.

These recent developments and the downgrade in Imran Khan’s detention conditions have sparked debates and concerns about the treatment of political prisoners in Pakistan.

As the situation unfolds, the public and political community await further updates on Imran Khan’s case and any possible changes in his detention status.
