The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) continued its bullish run on Monday as the KSE-100 index closed in on the milestone of 60,000 points. The index closed at 59,811.34, up by 724.99 points, or 1.23 per cent. The surge was attributed to factors such as the positive outlook for the banking sector, cheap valuations, and a flush of liquidity. Experts also credited the rally to strong dividend payouts, the staff-level agreement with the IMF, and improving economic data. Foreign buying and institutional interest also contributed to the all-time high for stocks.
