Former fast bowler Waqar Younis has suggested increasing the number of teams in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) for big brands like PSL. In a tweet on the social media site Twitter, Waqar Younis recommended to PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi that for big brands like PSL, there are very few teams, and the PSL 2025 edition should have at least 8 teams.
He questioned why there were no women’s exhibition matches during the last PSL matches last year. Waqar Younis also recommended having a separate channel and setup for Urdu commentary during PSL matches.
It is clear that recently, Islamabad United defeated Multan Sultans in a thrilling match, winning the PSL 2024 trophy for the third time.
