The PPP dismissed reports of differences between Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari and Asif Ali Zardari as “baseless”. They stated that Bilawal had departed for Dubai on a planned visit. This came after news channels reported his sudden departure without informing party leadership. The departure was linked to tensions between the father-son duo following a recent interview by Zardari, in which he commented on Bilawal’s political journey. However, PPP leaders confirmed that Bilawal’s visit was scheduled and not a result of any conflicts. They also affirmed his presence at the party’s founding day celebration in Quetta. Zardari also addressed Bilawal’s recent remarks on generational change in politics, stating that his son still needed more time to be fully trained. He clarified that Bilawal’s remarks were directed at everyone and not just himself.
