A shocking incident occurred in India where an on-duty police officer was dragged for a considerable distance on the bonnet of a car by a 12th-grade student. The incident has gone viral after a video capturing the incident surfaced.

The video shows a police officer being dragged on the bonnet of a car during a vehicle inspection drive in Surat, Gujarat.

As depicted in the video, a white Skoda car can be seen speeding away with the officer desperately holding onto the bonnet. Eventually, the officer falls off as the car passes over a speed breaker near a road circle, while other on-duty officers pursue the car.

The injured officer was immediately taken to the hospital for medical treatment.

Furthermore, an FIR (First Information Report) has been filed against the car’s driver, identified as Hemraj Badhiya, who happens to be a 12th-grade student. The charge against him is attempted murder, and the police have confiscated the car used in the incident.

In another unrelated incident that occurred on October 12, a 43-year-old taxi driver was tragically killed after being dragged for approximately 1.5 kilometers by a group of robbers who had stolen his car.

The incident was captured on video and is being widely shared on social media platforms.
