Police conduct raid-like operation at retired officer’s house in Karachi

Karachi: Another incident of robbery in the style of police raid has come to light, this time targeting a retired officer from their own department.

Police officers conducted a raid at the home of a retired police officer in Saeedabad Sector 14 area, and looted cash of two lakh rupees along with gold jewelry.

Retired Police Inspector Bashir Hussain reported that the raiding officers conducted a looting operation today.

On the other hand, SSP Kemari formed an inquiry committee for the incident and stated that no one would be allowed to commit robbery.

SSP Kemari also mentioned that the committee formed under the leadership of DSP Municipality will identify the individuals involved in the incident and take action against them.

It is important to note that in the past few days, police officers had conducted a raid in Orangi Town and committed a robbery of more than two crore rupees, leading to the filing of a case against the DSP and his associates and their subsequent arrest, while the SSP was suspended.
