Karachi: The Federal Police has arrested the former head editor and a police officer on charges of supervising brothels and collecting bribes, and has filed a case on the government’s behalf.
The Federal Police arrested the former head editor and a police officer on charges of supervising brothels and collecting bribes, and filed case number 12/2024 under sections 385 and 384 of the Pakistan Penal Code.
In the case filed by Inspector Haji Ahmed, he stated that he was present at the station when an informant informed him that the head editor of Fair Police, Head Constable Mazhar and police officer Sahil were supervising brothels in the Sahil area and collecting bribes in return.
Upon receiving this information, the SHO Fair informed and later filed a case against both police officers and arrested them. The case has been referred to the ISI for further investigation.
