According to a PML-N spokesperson, Maryam Nawaz is scheduled to address a rally in Okara on Monday. The spokesperson, Marriyum Aurangzeb, shared this information on the social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter. She mentioned that Maryam, who is the party’s chief organizer, will be sharing important points of the manifesto at Iqbal Stadium, Okara. The public gathering is part of the PML-N’s election campaign, with the spokesperson expressing confidence that the people will be the winners on February 8, the day of the countrywide polling. Rana Sanaullah, former interior minister and President PML-N Punjab, also stated that Nawaz Sharif will lead the party’s election drive, starting from January 15. He dismissed any rumors of differences within the party regarding the distribution of tickets, explaining that consultations are ongoing for some constituencies. The final list of candidates will be issued by the party in the next one or two days. The party is advocating for a transparent election to be held on time and is not in favor of delaying the electoral process.
