The business facilitation centre in Rawalpindi has finalized its location at the Rawalpindi Development Authority premises, and work on it is expected to be completed within two months. Commissioner Liaquat Ali Chattha, along with other officials, visited the building to oversee the progress. The centre aims to bring all departments under one roof to provide necessary clearances for entrepreneurs. This will include representatives from 18 departments such as Wapda, Nadra, SNGPL, and others. The official website for the Business Facilitation Center – www.bfc.Punjab.gov.pk – has all the necessary details and also allows for the tracking of application status. Secretary Industries Ehsan Bhutta emphasized the importance of establishing industries for economic development and mentioned the interest of more than 3,000 people in setting up small industries in Rawalpindi. The centre is being started in Rawalpindi, Multan, Sialkot, Faisalabad, and Gujranwala to promote economic activities and attract investment. Furthermore, staff at the centre will undergo special training, and regular monitoring will be in place to ensure smooth operations. Additionally, efforts will be made to improve the existing access road of Rawat Industrial Estate.
