According to Express News, the federal government has announced the closure of four accountability courts in Peshawar and the establishment of four other courts in their place. The announcement stated that judges have also been appointed for all four courts, with two anti-narcotics courts operating in Peshawar, one anti-corruption court in Abbottabad, and one banking court in D.I Khan. It was also mentioned that now instead of 8, only 4 accountability courts will be functioning in Peshawar.
