Pakpattan: Border Crossing Team Successfully Rescues Lost Buffalo from Across the Border

Lahore: Local people captured and imprisoned a rare species of blue cow coming from India, the Punjab Wildlife Department rescued the blue cow after receiving information and transferred it to the Head Suleman of the Wildlife Park.

According to details, local people in the vicinity of Depi near Pakpattan had captured and tied the blue cow, which had strayed from India in search of food. The video of the rare species of the blue cow being tied up was received by Express News.

On the other hand, Assistant Director Wildlife Sahiwal Naeem Tahir stated that as soon as they received information about the incident, he had sent his team to the area, which rescued the blue cow and transferred it to the Head Suleman Wildlife Park.

According to Naeem Tahir, the blue cow was quite injured and was given immediate medical assistance. He also mentioned that some time ago, a male blue cow had also been rescued from the Border Area.

It is clear that in the eastern border areas of Pakistan, many blue cows, sambars, and other wild animals stray from India to Pakistan.

So far, several blue cows and deer have been rescued and transferred to Lahore’s Wildlife Park, along with other birdhouses, while many animals have been left back in their natural environment.
