The Punjab Relief Commissioner, Nabil Javed, has instructed the civil administration to take quick action to ensure the safety of citizens ahead of the expected heavy rains in the province. He emphasized the importance of all line departments working together and following the instructions of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz without any room for complacency. The meeting, chaired by Mr. Javed via video-link, was attended by commissioners and deputy commissioners who were briefed on the current weather situation by PDMA DG Imran Qureshi. Each official also shared the steps they have taken in their respective jurisdictions to prepare for any emergencies.
