Anwarul Haq Kakar, the Caretaker Prime Minister, stated that Baloch militant groups are being financed by the Indian intelligence agency RAW to carry out terrorist activities in Pakistan. In a press conference in Lahore, he addressed the issue of militants not being tried in courts despite the high number of casualties in the country. He emphasized that the criminal justice system needed to be improved and accused the militants of carrying out terrorist acts with funding from RAW.

Kakar also commented on the police action against Baloch protesters in Islamabad, acknowledging that it should not have happened but stating that stones were thrown at officials, leading to the use of force by the police. He criticized those who likened the situation to Gaza and emphasized that the Pakistani state should not be compared to the Israeli state.

The Prime Minister strongly criticized the militant organizations such as the Baloch Liberation Army, the Baloch Liberation Front, and the Baloch Republican Army, accusing them of killing thousands of people. He defended the right of Baloch families to protest but emphasized that he had no quarrel with those families, only with the militant organizations. He also stated that using water cannons on protesters was a standard practice and reiterated that the government was willing to talk with the Baloch protesters.

Kakar expressed his frustration with being mocked for his ethnicity and reiterated that his fight was against militant organizations, not the Baloch families. He defended the actions of the government and stated that the majority of the Baloch community stood with the country.
