PTI has strongly protested the new Operation Azm e Istekham, demanding an open debate in parliament. Asad Qaiser has met Maulana Fazal ur Rehman and has tweeted that we both parties don’t think that a new operation is the solution. Why PTI is panicking? Because perhaps it has sensed that Azm-e-Istekham is a strategy to take over the politics of PTI in KP, by taking control of the political administration.
What then is the solution? I argue that solution lies in two things: Intelligence Based Operations (IBO) and Political Negotiations with the real powers that are behind the attacks on CPEC. Looking forward to your comments!
