Pakistan Railways has announced plans to implement a fuel track management system in order to monitor and optimize fuel supply and reduce expenses. This decision was made during a meeting chaired by Pakistan Railways Secretary Syed Mazhar Ali Shah, with the aim of transitioning to an online fuel management system and exploring various fuel supply options. The meeting also discussed efforts to improve healthcare facilities, including the opening of railway hospitals in Quetta and Peshawar for public access. Additionally, plans were made to hire medical staff and improve passenger amenities by installing executive toilets at major railway stations. The meeting also reviewed the development of acquiring land for the Thar coal project and emphasized the railway’s commitment to sustainable practices.
