North Korea is planning to launch three additional spy satellites in 2024 to strengthen its military capabilities, according to state media. The announcement was made at a year-end party meeting attended by North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. The meeting also addressed the strained relations between North and South Korea, with Kim stating that reconciliation and reunification with South Korea was no longer a priority. The meeting concluded with Kim ordering the reorganization of departments handling cross-border affairs.
