Karachi: Member of National Assembly Syed Mustafa Kamal has submitted his response to the electoral excuse in the Sindh High Court.
In constituency NA-242, PTI-supported candidate Dua Khan Sabir’s electoral excuse was challenged in the Sindh High Court by MNA Syed Mustafa Kamal through advocate Hasan Sabir, in which statements of 18 witnesses including the chief polling agent were submitted.
Syed Mustafa Kamal stated in the response to the electoral excuse that peaceful polling was conducted in constituency NA-242. The PTI candidate submitted a fake Form 45. Dua Khan Sabir’s Form 45 was falsely labeled by the returning officer. When the results were being compiled, the PTI and JI candidates staged a sit-in instead of accepting the results. PTI and JI candidates surrounded the office of the returning officer instead of accepting the results.
They took the stance that the candidates accusing of rigging did not participate in the consolidation nor signed the documents. The Form 45 uploaded by the Election Commission was not challenged by anyone. The statements of witnesses stated that there was no rigging or changing of results before them.
Speaking to the media after submitting the response, Syed Mustafa Kamal said that people should not be offended by the insults of PTI leaders, as giving abuses is compulsory for PTI leaders, if they do not abuse, they will not be able to meet the leader in jail and if they meet, the founder of PTI will be the one giving abuses.
Syed Mustafa Kamal said that Arif Alvi was not capable of the presidential office, he is still doing politics of the streets. MQM did not take control over Karachi, but it was PTI who captured it in 2018.
He said that the founder of PTI’s Twitter account is being operated from abroad, so the agenda is clear. It will be understood who is behind it. The Pakistan Army is a sign of uniting the country and the nation, but they are meeting with former Army Chief Yahya Khan today. Sheikh Mujeeb sought help from India and with that help, he created Bangladesh. If Sheikh Mujeeb sought help from India, then do the founders of PTI want to become Sheikh Mujeeb?
