Quetta: On the third day of Eid in Balochistan, the weather turned pleasant as the Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rain with thunder and lightning across the province.
According to the Meteorological Department, the weather has drastically changed in the provincial capital Quetta and surrounding areas, bringing cool breeze while other areas like Pishin, Sranan, Kech are expected to receive rain.
The forecast predicts a continuous spell of rain in intervals, with most parts of the province experiencing cloudy weather. In northern regions, rain has already started at some places.
The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rain in more than 25 districts of the province today. Zhob, Sherani, Barkhan, Musakhel, Kohlu, Sabi, and Jhal Magsi are expected to receive rain.
Additionally, Loralai, Ziarat, Quetta, Chaman, Pishin, Qila Abdullah, Qila Saifullah, Lasbela, Khuzdar, Ziarat, Muslim Bagh, Harnai, Nasirabad, Jaffarabad, Chagai, Panjgur, Gwadar, and Kech are also expected to experience rain.
Some areas may also witness thunderstorms and strong winds alongside the possibility of lightning with heavy rain. The Meteorological Department has also indicated the likelihood of hail and drizzle in certain locations.
