Met office predicts dry weather and colder temperatures for Karachi

KARACHI: The Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecasted dry weather with cold temperatures at night for Karachi in the next 24 hours.

The current temperature in the city is 14 degrees Celsius, with the lowest recorded temperature at 13 degrees Celsius.

During the daytime, the temperatures are expected to range between 24 to 26 degrees Celsius, indicating mild weather conditions.

The humidity level is at 67 percent, with northeast winds blowing at a speed of 8 kilometers per hour.

Air Quality Alert

Karachi ranks third in the list of the world’s most polluted cities based on the Air Quality Index, with a concentration of particulate matter in the air recorded at 217 particulate matter per cubic meter.

Health experts recommend adopting urban safety measures, including the use of masks when traveling, due to the city’s air quality demanding attention for the well-being of its residents.
