Islamabad: Muslim League (N) leader Rana Tanveerullah has stated that meetings will be held with the head of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam, Maulana Fazlur Rehman, and the issues he has raised are legitimate.
After a meeting with Maulana Fazlur Rehman along with delegations from the Muslim League (N), Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Balochistan Awami Party, and Muslim League (Q), Rana Tanveerullah spoke to the media.
Rana Tanveerullah said that Maulana is our leader, and we have always taken guidance from him and will continue to meet with Maulana Fazlur Rehman. They will come back tomorrow evening to meet with Maulana Fazlur Rehman again and the issues raised by him are legitimate, sometimes misunderstandings arise from not doing things on time.
Rana Tanveerullah said that they will clear up these misunderstandings by talking to their leadership.
It should be noted that the delegation meeting with Maulana Fazlur Rehman included Rana Tanveerullah, Ahsan Iqbal, Ayaz Sadiq, Saad Rafique, former Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani, Sadiq Sanjrani, Khalid Maqsood, Abdul Aleem Khan, and Saleh Hussain.
On the other side, Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Hyderi, Haji Ghulam Ali, Essam Ghauri, Noor Alam Khan, and Maulana Amanullah were included in the meeting with the head of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam.
Consultations were held on the country’s political situation in the meeting, however, besides Rana Tanveerullah, the other members of the delegation left without talking to the media after meeting Maulana Fazlur Rehman.
