NA-132 Kasur II (formerly known as NA-138 Kasur II) will witness the participation of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president and former PM Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif in the general elections of 2024, where he will be contesting against at least 21 other candidates.

PML-N has been the winning party for the Kasur seat since the 2008 general elections, with the party’s candidate Wasim Akhtar Sheikh winning by a margin of more than 51000 votes. Wasim Akhtar Sheikh secured the seat again in the 2013 general elections.

In 2018, Malik Rasheed Ahmad Khan contested the general elections from this constituency and won by a significant margin against PTI candidate Sardar Rashid Tufail.

In the general elections of 2024, PML-N President Mian Shehbaz Sharif has decided to contest from this Kasur constituency (now known as NA-132). The main opposing candidate in this election is the independent candidate Ibtisam Elahi Zaheer, who will be contesting with the electoral symbol of Door.

Elections for 2024 will take place in Pakistan on February 8, 2024, and a total of 175 parties and a large number of independent candidates will be contesting from different National Assembly and Provincial Assembly constituencies.
