Lawyer’s legal team threatened after catching electricity theft, police fired on team

The lawyer, Abrar Hussain, threatened the police team with firing when they caught him red-handed in electricity theft in Peshawar. According to a spokesman for Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO), the accused lawyer was residing in Momin Town, Dala Zak Road, and was involved in electricity theft through tampered meters. The accused also had a heated argument with the PESCO officials and as a result, a 2-year-old child was injured. The spokesman stated that the lawyer, Abrar Hussain, also pointed his weapon at the police and other colleagues before fleeing the scene. The police have registered a case against the accused for firing, electricity theft, and obstructing official duty.
