The Lahore High Court has issued an order to release Sardar Khurram Latif Khosa, the son of PTI leader Sardar Latif Khosa. According to Express News, the Lahore High Court has issued an order for the release of Sardar Khurram Latif Khosa, a senior lawyer and leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf. Prior to this, Sardar Khurram Latif Khosa was brought to court at 6 pm after a request for recovery was filed by Sardar Latif Khosa.
The court inquired from the government lawyer about the case in which he was arrested. The lawyer mentioned that he was arrested in the same case that the FIR was filed in. He was arrested after the FIR and presented before the court. The government lawyer also mentioned that the accused claims to have been arrested yesterday, but according to the enforcing authorities, he was arrested today.
After the hearing, Justice Baqir Ali Najfi reserved the decision, which was later announced. According to the decision, the court rejected the registered FIR against Sardar Khurram Latif Khosa and ordered his release.
It should be noted that the police had arrested Sardar Khurram Latif Khosa in a terrorism case yesterday. After his arrest, Sardar Latif Khosa stated that Khurram Latif Khosa had been arrested by the Mazang Police Station.
