Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 4 terrorists killed in various security operations

Security forces have conducted separate operations in the districts of North Waziristan and Dera Ismail Khan in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, resulting in the killing of 4 terrorists. According to a statement issued by the public relations department of the Pakistan Army, on January 13, security forces carried out two separate operations in the province, eliminating 4 terrorists. An intelligence-based operation was conducted in the Mir Ali district of North Waziristan. The statement mentioned that during the operation in North Waziristan, there was an exchange of heavy fire with the terrorists, resulting in the elimination of the highly sought after terrorist commander, Qadirmann, and the terrorist Sajidmann. In the Dera Ismail Khan district, security forces and police carried out a joint operation in the Klachi area, where two more terrorists were killed. These terrorists were involved in multiple terrorist activities against security forces as well as extortion and targeted killings of innocent civilians. It was also reported that the terrorists were highly wanted by law enforcement agencies, and the operation also led to the recovery of weapons, ammunition, and explosive materials. The statement from the Pakistan Army also mentioned that in case of the presence of more terrorists in the area, sanitization operations are ongoing to eliminate them, and the local residents have expressed their support for the security forces’ operations and cooperation in eradicating terrorism.
