Karachi: A woman’s body has been found from a house in Korangi Mehran Town, where she was allegedly murdered after being subjected to violence. According to details, the woman’s body was found in Sector 6 of Korangi Mehran Town near the Omar Bin Khattab Mosque at house number MB 53, where she was allegedly murdered after being subjected to violence. The woman’s body was privately transferred to Jinnah Hospital for legal action, and the woman was identified as 18-year-old Roma, wife of Salim. On contacting the SHO Korangi, Abidullah said that the police had a conversation with the woman’s uncles on the phone, who informed the police that Roma was fine when they spoke to her on Saturday night, but it was discovered on Sunday afternoon that her condition had deteriorated, so she was transferred to a nearby hospital where she passed away. Abidullah stated that the police officer was sent to the hospital as soon as the information was received, and he will gather all the details after which the truth will come out. He also mentioned that the cause of death could not be determined immediately, so the police is further investigating this matter. The woman’s father, while speaking to the media representatives at Jinnah Hospital, said that he loved his daughter very much, and had bought new clothes and fruits for her. He had left the house to meet his daughter when he received the news that his daughter was at Jinnah Hospital. When he arrived at Jinnah Hospital, he saw his daughter’s dead body. She was 19 to 20 years old. He said that his daughter had gotten married to a relative seven months ago. From the very beginning, her husband’s family had been mistreating her, and she was also under a lot of mental pressure. He said that he had spoken to his daughter on the phone the previous night and she was fine, but in the morning, her phone was turned off and there was no response from her in-laws. His daughter often complained to her mother about the mistreatment and violence by her in-laws and husband. It is suspected that his daughter died as a result of severe mental pressure and violence from her in-laws and husband. The woman’s husband, Salim, who lost his wife, said that when he returned home at 12 o’clock at night from work, he ate dinner with his wife and then they watched TV until 1:30 in the morning, after which his wife turned off the TV and went to sleep. In the morning, around 5:30, his wife was woken up to fetch water, but she did not drink the water, and then she forcefully held his hand and went back to sleep. He said that at 10 o’clock in the morning, he tried to wake her up but she didn’t get up. It had only been six months since their marriage, and his wife was not ill. He also denied mistreating his wife.
