In the capital of Kargil, local and international students were involved in a clash, with Pakistani students also getting caught up in the turmoil. According to foreign news sources, there was a clash between local and international students in the capital of Kargil, Bishkek, in which Pakistani students were also involved.

The reports indicate that the agitated Kargil students attacked Pakistani student hostels, resulting in multiple students being injured. While the deaths of 3 Pakistani students have been reported in the attacks, the fatalities could not be confirmed.

The agitated Kargil students attacked Pakistani youth hostels, causing vandalism and harassing Pakistani students. This has left Pakistani students in distress.

A Pakistani student stated that violence was committed against both boys and girls in the hostels, and complained about lack of cooperation from the Pakistani embassy.

It is evident that the clash began when Kargil students started harassing Egyptian students. After Egyptian students retaliated against the Kargil students, clashes broke out, and Kargil students are now attacking international students across Bishkek.

Until the situation normalizes, the Pakistani ambassador has directed Pakistani students to stay at home. Following the tense situation in Bishkek, Pakistani Ambassador Hassan Ali Zia has instructed Pakistani students to stay at home until the situation stabilizes in Kargil.

Ambassador Hassan Ali Zia stated that they are in contact with local law enforcement agencies and are taking measures to ensure the safety of Pakistani students.
