Karachi: Two women were killed when a speeding trailer crushed the motorcycle they were riding on near the Korangi No. 1 petrol pump in Karachi. The incident happened when they were returning home from a wedding ceremony.
According to details, the trailer hit the motorcycle carrying the two women, resulting in their deaths. Their bodies were shifted to Jinnah Hospital for legal proceedings, while the motorcycle rider miraculously survived the accident.
Doctors revealed that the faces and heads of both women were severely affected by the accident, leading to their deaths. The bodies were identified as 42-year-old Nadia, wife of Niaz, and 15-year-old Shameela.
Rescue officials stated that initially it was reported that the husband, wife, and daughter were returning home after attending a wedding ceremony when the tragic incident occurred.
Following the accident, enraged citizens at the scene pelted the trailer with stones, broke its windows, and set it on fire. The police arrived at the scene and dispersed the agitated crowd.
