Lahore: Federal Minister for National Heritage and Culture Jamal Shah inaugurated the Saera Arts Academy. According to Express News, the federal minister, along with renowned singer Saera Peter, sang two songs at the inauguration, which were well-received by the audience.
The federal minister said that the majority of the youth in the beloved country are in need of becoming acquainted with Allama Iqbal, as he wanted to see the youth as free, dynamic, and active.
Jamal Shah said that the establishment of Pakistan is the result of Allama Iqbal’s imagination and thinking, as he determined the path of freedom in his address in Allahabad, and the efforts of scholars are promoting Iqbal’s understanding.
The Minister of Culture further said that the Saera Arts Academy will not only provide a great opportunity for singers to learn, but those who receive training from this academy will also brighten Pakistan’s name in the world with their singing abilities.
