The Israeli military has strongly denied any confirmation of allegations claiming that Hamas fighters beheaded babies in the Kfar Aza kibbutz region during the recent Israel-Hamas conflict. These claims had spread widely on social media platforms and were even reported by some mainstream news websites.

The allegation first came to light on Tuesday when a video from i24NEWS reporter Nicole Zedek, showing the devastation in the Kfar Aza kibbutz, was published on the official government @Israel account on X. The accompanying caption to the video read, “40 babies murdered.”

Several news outlets around the world, including CBS and the Times of India, also featured stories on the alleged beheadings of more than 40 babies. CBS quoted Israel Defence Forces spokesperson Maj. Libby Weiss, who stated that Israeli soldiers had reported finding “beheaded children of varying ages, ranging from babies to slightly older children,” as well as dismembered adults in Kfar Aza.

However, the Israeli army has now clarified through an official spokesperson that they have no confirmation of these claims. The spokesperson, who remains unnamed, told Anadolu Agency, “We have seen the news, but we do not have any details or confirmation about that.”

Furthermore, journalist Oren Ziv, affiliated with the independent news outlet 972 mag, also addressed the topic and stated that during their tour of the attack site, they did not witness any evidence of such incidents. The army spokesperson or commanders also did not mention any beheading of babies.

It is crucial to note that these claims remain unverified and are based on social media reports and allegations. The Israeli army has categorically denied any knowledge or evidence that supports such shocking accusations. It is important to approach these issues with caution and rely on verified information.

In summary, the Israeli military has denied having any confirmation of the widely circulated claim that Hamas fighters beheaded babies in Kfar Aza during the Israel-Hamas conflict. These allegations have been fueled by social media reports, but the Israeli army has stated that they have no information or evidence to support these claims.
