As Israel’s relentless campaign in Gaza persists, the 2.3 million residents of this besieged region are facing the imminent threat of famine, as starvation and disease loom large. The ongoing assault has resulted in a staggering loss of life, with over 31,800 people killed and 74,000 others wounded since October 7. The already fragile health system in Gaza has been further strained, with medical facilities either destroyed or targeted by Israeli forces. In order to put an end to the immense suffering in Gaza, urgent action is needed.
