After 5 soldiers were killed in fresh clashes in Gaza, the overall death toll has risen to 97, Israel. The Israeli ground forces are facing tough resistance in Gaza, where nearly 100 officials, including former army chief and current Minister of Military Affairs’ son and nephew, have been killed in the ongoing military operations. According to international news outlets, in the recent clash with Hamas, 5 soldiers were killed, including the son and nephew of an Israeli minister. In this clash, the nephew of the former army chief was also killed, while his military son was killed in an explosion during a search operation three days ago. In the latest clash with Hamas, 12 Israeli soldiers were also injured, and at least 4 of them are in critical condition, raising fears of increased casualties. The Israeli troops entered Gaza at the end of October and have so far killed 97 officials at the hands of Hamas. On the other hand, the Al-Qassam Brigades destroyed a building in the Al-Zeitoun neighborhood where Israeli soldiers had taken refuge. Meanwhile, Israel’s national security adviser has claimed to have killed 7,000 Palestinian militants during the Gaza war. It should be noted that the number of Palestinians killed in Israeli aggression in Gaza has exceeded 17,700 since October 7, while nearly 49,000 others have been injured.
