According to a press release from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), two terrorists were eliminated and two others were injured during an operation by the troops. Sadly, during the intense exchange of fire, Naib Subedar Asif Irfan, aged 37 and resident of District Okara, and Sepoy Irfan Ali, aged 22 and resident of District Sargodha, were martyred.
The area is currently being sanitized to ensure complete elimination of any remaining terrorists. The security forces remain steadfast in their commitment to eliminate terrorism, and the sacrifices made by our brave soldiers only strengthen our resolve, as stated in the ISPR press release.
