According to her sister Maryam Riaz Wattoo, former first lady and wife of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Bushra Bibi has been unwell for the last six days after consuming food provided at Adiala jail.
Wattoo alleged that Bushra Bibi was given harmful food at the jail, even though home-cooked food is not allowed for the former first lady. She demanded an investigation into the matter, expressing concern for her sister’s safety.
Wattoo emphasized that her sister remains loyal to PTI founder Khan Sahib and can never turn against him. She also stated that after the incident, Bushra Bibi was in danger at Adiala jail.
It is important to note that the former first lady Bibi is serving her imprisonment at Adiala jail in Toshakhana and ‘un-Islamic’ Nikkah cases.
