A diver cleaning the Stanislaus River in Northern California found an iPhone covered in algae, and to his surprise, the device was still in perfect working condition after being submerged for around three months. According to Apple Insider, the diver, named Lee, discovered the algae-covered iPhone 12 in November. After cleaning and drying the phone, he connected it to a charger and was amazed to find that it turned on. The iPhone 12 comes with an IP68 rating, which means it can last 30 minutes in 6-meter deep water, but this phone was submerged for more than three months. Lee is now trying to reach out to the owner of the phone using the contact list.
