Karachi: Due to an increase in the price of gold in the international market, there has been an increase in the local market as well. The price of gold reached $2067 per ounce in the international bullion market due to a $10 increase, leading to an increase in the price of 24-carat gold per tola in local currency markets.
The price of gold per tola increased by Rs. 1100 to reach Rs. 216,800 and the price of gold per ten grams increased by Rs. 943 to reach Rs. 185,871.
Similarly, the price of silver remained stable at Rs. 2,570 per tola and Rs. 2,203.36 per ten grams without any changes.
