Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Barrister Gohar has said that after the decision of the Supreme Court, our candidates will contest the election as independent candidates.
Speaking to the media after the Supreme Court’s decision, the PTI lawyer said that after the court’s decision, PTI candidates will now contest as independent candidates. In this regard, we have already prepared a strategy and there is no need to worry.
Barrister Ali Zafar said that PTI will contest the election with full force even after the Supreme Court’s decision, and the party is still registered and the court has not stopped the candidates from contesting the election.
The PTI leader said that there is a lot of disappointment with today’s decision of the Supreme Court, we had hoped and wished for justice to prevail, but that did not happen.
He said that PTI has ten crore voters and there was no objection to any intra-party election, but those who objected were not affiliated with PTI.
He said that out of the fourteen people who filed applications in the Supreme Court, none were members of PTI, but regardless, the people of Pakistan will vote for Imran Khan.
Barrister Ali Zafar said that all members of the PTI will contest the election as independent candidates, and after the decision of the Supreme Court, PTI will be deprived of all specific seats and will not be given any specific seats in the national or provincial assembly, and the candidates will contest the election as independent candidates on separate symbols.
