The global youth has been leading protests around the world, demanding an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and expressing widespread outrage at Israel’s ongoing assault. The question arises whether this strong support from young people will have lasting effects on the situation in Palestine. Moderator Elizabeth Puranam is joined by non-resident senior fellow Dana El Kurd from the Arab Center in Washington, DC, Black Lives Matter activist and co-founder of the Black Liberation Collective Zellie Imani, and UK-based youth climate activist Noga Levy-Rapoport, who is involved in Palestine solidarity campaigns. Together, they will discuss the potential long-term impacts of the global youth’s support for Palestine.
