Hira Khan, a prominent figure in the entertainment industry, shared her thoughts on the guilt and helplessness of living a normal life amidst the ongoing humanitarian crisis and genocide in Gaza caused by Israel.

The actor has consistently used her platform to raise awareness and condemn Israel’s attacks and bombings in Gaza. In her recent Instagram post, Khan expressed her hope for the crisis to end and for the world to return to a state of normalcy.

Accompanied by a two-selfie gallery of herself, Khan questioned whether peace will ever prevail in the world. She stated, “Not that it was peaceful before, but will there be light?”

Furthermore, the star of ‘Woh Pagal Si’ expressed her disheartenment towards the escalating situation during the last 20+ days. She highlighted the presence of bombs and blood everywhere, leading to her feeling guilty about enjoying a normal life while being unable to do anything to help.

In response to a comment on her post, Khan acknowledged the luxury of being able to “pause and move on with our lives,” which the affected people of Palestine do not have. She expressed her hopes for the war to end soon.

On her Instagram stories, Khan also mentioned being among those who were shadow-banned on the social media platform for consistently raising their voices against the ongoing war.

Meanwhile, Gaza health authorities have reported that at least 9,061 people have been killed in the strip since Israel initiated its attacks on the enclave, which is home to 2.3 million people.

Israel announced that it had surrounded Gaza’s largest city, the primary target of its efforts to dismantle Hamas. The United States is expected to pressure Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to agree to a ceasefire to facilitate the delivery of aid to the Palestinian enclave.
