Haris Rauf becomes the priciest bowler of World Cup 2023

During the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023, Pakistan pacer Haris Rauf became the most expensive bowler in a single edition of the tournament, setting the record in a fixture against England. Rauf returned with figures of 3-64 in 10 overs at Kolkata’s Eden Gardens, conceding 533 runs in nine World Cup matches. This broke the previous record of 526 runs set by England leg-spinner Adil Rashid in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019. Sri Lanka fast bowler Dilshan Madushanka is in second place, having conceded 525 runs in the ongoing tournament.
