Islamabad: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has directed the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) to provide relief items to the areas affected by rains. Speaking at a meeting on the power sector, Shahbaz Sharif said that the country is experiencing rainfall which will fill the dams and increase power generation, but there has also been considerable damage. The Chairman of the NDMA should immediately contact the provinces and ensure the provision of relief items to the affected areas.
