There was a fire in the emergency center of Sindh Government Hospital Liaquatabad, causing seven people to sustain burn injuries. The fire was triggered by a cylinder explosion and resulted in the hospital being filled with smoke. The injured individuals were transferred to another hospital, and the Governor of Sindh, Kamran Tessori, has requested a report on the incident. In a previous incident on December 6, 2023, a fire in Karachi’s Ayesha Manzil resulted in the death of five individuals. The fire was extinguished after hours of effort by rescue workers, and 300 people were safely evacuated from the affected building.
