Three individuals died and 17 others were injured on Monday when a residential building in Karachi’s Machhar Colony collapsed due to a gas cylinder explosion, according to police and rescue officials.
As a result, three people died and approximately 17 others were injured, some with serious injuries. The entire building was destroyed, with 26 cylinders being removed by a bomb disposal squad to an open area for safe handling.
According to Dr. Syed, three bodies were taken to Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK), with a total of 21 individuals being brought to the hospital. Some of the individuals had suffocation and breathing issues. Among those rescued was a four-to-five-month-old baby who miraculously did not sustain any injuries.
