Paris: French President Emmanuel Macron has launched a 200-day countdown to the Paris Olympics. A special event was held near the Eiffel Tower, where President Macron pressed a button to start the countdown, and emphasized the participation of the national public in the preparations for the games.
France is hosting the Summer Games for the first time in 100 years, with the Paris Olympics set to take place from July 26 to August 11.
