National team fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi, Nasim Shah, and former all-rounder Imad Wasim were included in their respective teams by franchises at the Hundred draft after a hefty bid.

In the draft for the British League Hundred League held yesterday, only three players from Pakistan were picked by 8 franchises, including fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi, Nasim Shah, and Imad Wasim, who played a vital role in Islamabad United’s title win in the Pakistan Super League.

Among national cricketers, Nasim Shah proved to be the most expensive player and was included in Birmingham Phoenix for over 125,000 euros (more than 377 million Pakistani rupees) in their squad.

Imad Wasim, the other most expensive Pakistani player, was included in Trent Rockets for over 100,000 pounds (more than 353 million Pakistani rupees).

On the other hand, Shahid Afridi, who represented Welsh Fire last season, was once again included in Welsh Fire for over 100,000 euros (more than 301 million Pakistani rupees).

Similarly, big names in international cricket such as Jason Roy, David Warner, Tom Banton, and Shakib Al Hasan were not picked by any franchise for their squad.

It should be noted that in the previous year, Haris Rauf was retained by Welsh Fire while Usama Mir was retained by Manchester Originals.
