Rawalpindi: Former federal information minister Fawad Chaudhry was released from Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi after obtaining bail from Islamabad High Court, where he went home with his family.

According to Express News, Islamabad High Court had approved temporary bail for three weeks in 22 corruption cases, and Fawad Chaudhry, who was detained in Adiala Jail, was released.

Just two days ago, Islamabad High Court had also directed him to appear in court in relation to the other 22 cases for which he was granted temporary bail for three weeks.

Fawad Chaudhry was released after appearing in the Central Jail Adiala Rawalpindi from the court.

On this occasion, Fawad Chaudhry’s wife, Hiba Fawad Chaudhry, along with their loved ones, reached the jail and took him home.

After his release, Fawad Chaudhry’s wife, Hiba Fawad Chaudhry, also tweeted on the social networking site, XP, and released a picture of Fawad in the car, expressing gratitude.
